How to Apply With a Minimum Purchase in Magento 2

To set up these rules, we follow to 3 steps process:

Step 1: Build a Shopping cart rule

• In Admin sidebar, go to Stores>Marketing>promotions>cart Price Rules
• In the upper right corner, enter the Add New Rule. The selection panel in the group on the left contains Rule information, terms, actions and labels

Complete the rule information rules as follows:

1. Enter a rule name for the internal reference.
2. Add a small description to explain the content of the rule.
3. Set Status to “Active”.
4. Set up the website “main website”.
5. Select Customer groups matching the rule.

Step 2: Classify the condition

Set up the Conditions tab as follows:

• First, tapAdd at the beginning of the next line, and select Product Attribute Combination.

• Click Add at the beginningof the next line. Then in the list under Product Attribute, select Category.

• Click Add at the beginningof the next line, in the list under Cart Item Attribute, select Price in cart. 

• Tap the first striped parameter,IS. Then select “equal to or greater than” in the list. Next, tap the “more” link and enter the amount that the price in cart must be to meet the condition. For instance, if you enter 300 here, purchases will be more than $ 300.

• Click Save and continue edit.

Step 3: Classify the Action

• In the Panel on the left, select Actions. Then do the following:

• Tap and select “Percentage of product Price discount.”
• Enter the discount amount. For example, enter 25 for twenty-five percent rebate. If you want to prevent more purchases from being eligible for more promotions, just stop the terms “yes”.
• Tap Save and Continue Edit and it almost complete. Then, finish the rules as needed.

When you create a new price rule, it may take you an hour. Allow enough time to get on the computer. Then check the rule to make sure it works correctly.
