Cart Price Rule: The price of the cart uses the discount on products in the shopping cart based on the terms. Discounted conditions can be automatically discounted after completion or when the customer enters the right coupon code.

When applying, the discount will appear at the bottom of the table. A price rule can be used by changing the position and date range of season or promotion.

Step 1: Add a new rule

  • First, log in to your Store admin dashboard and go to Marketing>Promotions>Catalog Price Rule.
  • In the upper-right corner, click Add New Rule. The options on the left contain Rule Information, conditions, and Actions.

In Rule Information Page, do the following:

  • Finish the Rule Name and Description fields
  • Set Status to “Active”
  • Choose the Websites where the rule is presented.
  • Choose the Customer Groups to which these rules apply.
  • Set from and to dates to describe the range of dates when the rule will be in effect
  • Enter a number to launch the priority of this rule in relation to other rules.

Step 2: Classify the catalog price condition to rule

Most of the available terms are already based on existing attribute values. Apply the rules for all materials, leaving the conditions empty.

There are two bold links in the statement, which when clicked; the report will display the options of that section. If you save the situation without extra options, the rule applies to all items.   • At a discounted rate by subtracting a fixed amount from the original price: Apply to the standard size. For example, enter the discounted sum of 10 at an advanced price of 10 dollars for the original price.
  • This percentage will adjust the final price: by discounting the final price based on the item. For example: Enter 10% of the original price at the renewal price of 10% at the original price.
  • Adjust the final price at a discounted price.
  1. Enter the Discount amount
  • Subproduct discounts for “Yes” to apply the discounted amount of related products. Select the price structure, and enter the discount amount.
  • To abandon the rest of the rules after this rule, reject the subsequent rules as “Yes”. This protection prevents customers from receiving many discounts for the same product
  1. Click save and continue


Step 4: Apply the rule

Immediately apply a new rule, tie the catalog price rule grid, click apply rules in Magento.

When you create a new price rule, it may take you an hour. Allow enough time to get on the computer. Then check the fate to make sure it works correctly. When new rules are added, re-calculates Magento prices and preferences.
